I can say this mute does everything that Mike and others said it would.Easy to use,looks nice, and works excellent.I would guess it cuts volume by 2/3 but maintains quality tone and stays in tune. Great product and nice handmade storage pouch.Ordered on Monday,on my banjo Wednsday.Non banjo playing wife also loves it. Overall Rating 10
