Sound

Nice strident loud sound, can be sweet if played at the fingerboard or bright next to the bridge. My style is mainly trad 20's jazz.

Setup

Action is generally good, set a bit on the high side which is good for projection but not to high to be hard to play.

Appearance

Generally very nice workmanship, a couple of blemishes but not noticeable unless you look for them. The inlay/abalone looks very pretty on the headstock.

Reliability

Built like a tank and about as heavy too.

Overall Comments

Half the price of a Deering and much better than many of the cheaper banjitars/English banjos i've had experience with. This is my second banjitar, it projects well and serves my needs so i can't see any need to upgrade to a better one, this one is fine as is but i may experiment with some of the hardware to see how it alters the tone.
